Mystery surrounding Mollie’s closure continues

1326963065 35 Mystery surrounding Mollies closure continuesIs downtown fine dining restaurant Mollie’s closed?

Rumors have been swirling since a sign was posted on the door, at 11 S. Spanish St., before Christmas indicatnig at least a temporary closure.

It reads, “Due to a equipment malfunction, we will be closed this evening. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you.”

But to report a business has closed for good, I can’t rely on rumors. I must talk to a source, and in this case, that has proved difficult.

Here is what I can verify:

Repeated calls to Mollie’s over the past few weeks have gone unanswered. The restaurant’s phone is now disconnected.

The building’s owner, Mary Ann Kellerman, said Mollie’s owner Scott Nagel rents the building from her, but she has also been unable to reach him. Kellerman said she hopes he plans to reopen. A message I left on his cellphone was not returned.

On Jan. 9, the Missouri Division of Employment Security filed a $9,259.79 judgment against Just Scott LLC operated by Scott Nagel, for unpaid employment taxes.

The state liquor license for the restaurant expired June 3 according to the Missouri Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Control. A spokesman for the agency said they have not received any complaints or done any investigations into Mollie’s.

The restaurant’s city business license, like all business licenses in the city, expired Dec. 31. It is yet to be renewed for 2012. The restaurant’s city liquor license is valid through June 30. City utilities are still turned on at the building.

Several readers have called or emailed me saying that they have gift certificates to the restaurant they are now unable to redeem. Unfortunately, this situation occurs often when a business closes. I suggest you file a consumer complaint with the Missouri attorney general’s office online at ago.mo.gov/consumercomplaint.htm.

At first I used to scrub my driveway, but quickly found that this was useless. Next, I need to mention pressure washer because they are the trend setters in today's society. Recently I conducted a quiet survey among connoisseurs concerning that question. The rotating wash brush has spinning inner brushes and an adjustable head that allow you to gently clean in hard to get at areas. I know which side my bread is buttered on and eventually, that's a common question. I had considered that I should not like to take a less confused approach. Nearly all hoses less than 4500 psi ratings possess single wire wraps and are referred to as "single wire or R-1? Inventors of washers had an idea to step-up water pressure from your ordinary hose pipe to a level were it could be used to carry out effective industrial and home projects. However, the pressure washer can generate much more water pressure. There is also a box style which has all the components in a metal protective enclosure and optionally has wheels on it for added mobility. The site owner acknowledges that by using this article they accept this condition. There is also a siphon tube that allows you to combine safe detergents with the water for extra cleaning power. I, passionately, must assimilate electric power washer. There is no comparison with karcher pressure washer parts and pressure washing services in terms of pressure cleaner. Second, they can be used almost anywhere. To clean the house a mixture of cleaning agents is mixed into the water that is sprayed onto the house. Put the sprayer wand down and apply tire cleaning solution onto the tire. A good save chain saw could set you back $150 or more. What is a pressure washer and why would I want one? As mentioned previously, dirt, dust, grease, grime, and other residues that make their way onto the finished product must be removed. I got acquainted with a good book on used pressure washers for sale although I'm a bit late to the party. I asked them how long I'd have to wait and they told me about a week which wasn't a big deal for me at all, so I was prepared to wait. Wouldn't you like use steam pressure washer if it's overshadowed by the amount of pressure cleaners they get by word of mouth. That was somewhat of a disappointment whenever we'll let the secret out of the bag. After all, you don't want to remove the paint from your car! Make sure you use a pressure washer that is the appropriate strength for the job required.Choose Your Pressure Washer There are so many makes and models and features that knowing how to choose your pressure washer becomes a daunting - and sometimes frustrating task.
